2015, 10 years in the making!!

Therapy Kit Project: We are excited about this project… our clinic has a keen interest in injury prevention and health promotion through community sports activities. With this in mind and over 2015-2016, we have proposed to offer a free $60 Sport-Specific Therapy First Aid kit to every competitive team and club with a plan to reach every sport organization in Cornwall and surrounding area. Kickboxing Champ: Emily Vallance (14) holds the Canadian Champion title for kickboxing and is training her way to the Worlds in Albir, Spain. Emily has been working with our clinic to get ready for this upcoming battle in October.

Athletic Taping Clinics: We will continue to offer free 2.5 hour taping clinics that are specific to your sport for coaches, trainers, parents and even atheletes. We will focus on ankle, wrist and thumb taping techniques. More advanced taping clinics can be offered for those who previously attended the basic athletic taping clinic. Groups of 10-20 people are required. Call the clinic if interested.

Training Reached: Danny has reached a CSCS rating. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) recognition is an international university-level exercise specialist recognition. This level is found with training National and Olympic athletes. Danny is equipped with a skill set permitting a performance-oriented return to sport after injuries. These sport-specific exercise programs are tailored for the individual, sport and level of competency.

2014 was a year of changes!!

More qualified staff: We have invited new team members to join us: physiotherapists, kinesiologists, sport certified registered dietician and administrative assistant.  Click here to meet the staff!

More Training:  We have invested in specialization training for physiotherapist and kinesiologist.  

Expanded Care:  We have developed a Medical Exercise Program for oncology, neuro, cardiac, diabetic... patients with exercise supervision.

Work Injury Programs: We have expanded our work hardening program to serve tailor fitted return to work programs adapted to the industry and the injury.

Braces!  We have invested in inventory of braces and orthopedic equipment to provide fitting and expertise on orthopedic and sport support/braces in Cornwall.

Ergonomic Evaluations: We have expanded our ergonomic evaluations from the office environment to the industries.
